Sener Salci has joined the GEI Mekong Team as our Senior Energy Finance Specialist Consultant.
Prior to joining our team, Sener was a senior investment analyst and transaction advisor at the African Development Bank Group (AfDB). He accumulated 8+ years of experience and appraised 25+ energy sector projects in 15+ developing countries.
Sener’s project portfolio covers the financial, economic, risk, and environmental evaluation of projects. With his extensive experience, Sener is able to execute financial and economic advisory engagements, and transaction structuring through modelling and quantitative analyses.
Sener, who completed his Ph.D. studies in Economics at the University of Birmingham (UK), will be responsible for creating and analysing all of GEI’s finance models and providing the Board of Directors with analysis and advice on finance modelling, debt structures and economic sustainability for of GEI’s projects.
