The future is clear and it’s happening now. We are focused on playing our role in meeting an accelerated energy transition, continued economic development and providing essential waste management solutions that assist the world in decarbonising and improving living standards.

GEI Mekong’s current and future business strategy focuses on converting three waste streams to produce renewable low emission energy:

(i) industrial/manufacturing wastes

(ii) municipal solid wastes

(iii) agricultural waste stream

Our aim is to build-own-operate GEI Mekong’s waste-to-energy facilities throughout the Greater Mekong Sub-region and Southeast Asia  providing advanced waste solutions and clean energy to one of the fastest growing regions in the world.

Rapid urbanisation combined with unsustainable agricultural processes, unfettered development and increasing consumption patterns, particularly with respect  to consumption of raw materials and fossil-based fuels, will continue to increase GHG emissions and reduce the quality of life for the most vulnerable people in Southeast Asia.

Our visions is a cleaner, lower emission world that quickly adopts new ways of doing business and puts people and the environment at the centre of the development agenda. GEI Mekong  is committed to actively bringing this vision to fruition through our technology, people and CSR programmes.
