GEI Seeks Funding for Laos Project

GEI MEKONG is seeking funding opportunities for its waste-to-energy project in Vientiane, Laos.

The waste-to-energy project is a joint venture between Global Green International Energy Pte Ltd (GGIE)(70%) and Vientiane Waste Management (VWM)(30%), with GEI MEKONG holding a 20% interest in GGIE.

GGIE will operate the facility that will comprise of 4 x hybrid pyrolysis lines processing 300 tons of wet waste per day.

The facility will process and convert the 300 tons of wet waste per day into 8MW’s of electricity and 45,000 litres of synthetic-diesel (EN 590 standard).

With a 45 year waste supply agreement and 25 year lease on land secured, and a LOI to buy our diesel and PPA confirmed with the Laos Government this project is now ready for commencement pending funding.

GEI MEKONG is seeking $60 million usd for the Vientiane, Laos project and welcomes enquiries from all interested investors.
